YOUTH JIU JITSU

Class times depend on age/size:

Littles Jiu Jitsu with Coach Emily Zabroski – Monday & Wednesday 4:30-5:30pm (Ages 5-8yrs)

 

Youth Jiu Jitsu with Coach Justin Zabroski – Tuesday & Thursday 4:30-5:30pm (Ages 8-14yrs)

 

We offer 2 different age groups for optimal skill development, with flexibility to start younger or move up earlier based on size, focus, and motivation, this class blends athletic development, practical self-defense, and personal growth.

What to Expect:

✅ Skill Development & Self-Defense
Students learn real-world self-defense techniques using leverage, control, and positional strategy.

✅ No-Gi Training
We train in No-Gi Jiu Jitsu, wearing comfortable athletic clothing instead of a traditional Gi. Shorts or leggings with a t-shirt or rashguard are required (shoulders covered, no tank tops). Hair should be tied back if long.

✅ Fitness, Movement & Discipline
Every class includes a workout, mobility training, positional games, and new movement patterns that improve strength, balance, and coordination. Students also gain discipline, perseverance, and a goal-focused mindset.

✅ Safe & Supportive Environment
We emphasize injury prevention, mutual respect, and controlled training so kids can progress with confidence.

Instead of random techniques, your child will follow our step-by-step technical progression designed to teach them:

 

✅ The first moves they should do in all of the basic situations

✅ No Gi gripping techniques which also work in self-defense and Gi Jiu Jitsu

✅ How to escape bad positions and protect themself and get a fight to the ground in any self-defense situation

✅ How to train safely with their training partners

✅ How to warm-up and practice key movement patterns for grappling

✅ Strength & Conditioning skills specific to Jiu Jitsu

Youth Boxing with Coach Billie Torres – Friday 4:30-5:30pm (Ages 7-14yrs)

 

Ignite confidence and athleticism with our Youth Boxing class—designed specifically for young fighters between 7 and 14 years old. Your child will build a rock-solid foundation in boxing fundamentals within a supportive, fun, and safety-first environment.

What to Expect:

✅ Fundamental Technique Development
Learn proper stance, footwork, basic punches, and defensive movements—skills that serve as the building blocks for all striking arts.

✅ Structured & Purposeful Curriculum
Progress through a carefully designed system that emphasizes clear stages and skill checkpoints, ensuring each student grows with measurable milestones.

✅ Strength, Agility & Coordination
Incorporating dynamic drills—like shadow boxing, pad work, agility ladders, and basic conditioning—your child improves athleticism while mastering boxing technique.

TINY TOTS JIU JITSU & MOVEMENT

 

Mondays 3:45-4:15pm with Coach Emily Zabroski (Ages 2.5-5 yrs)

 

The perfect class to build your child’s core movement and coordination skills while, learning teamwork and cooperation. This class includes:

✅ Fun Movement-focused Games

✅ Coordination and Balance Training

✅ Basic Jiu Jitsu Concepts

✅ Group participation and teamwork

✅ Building confidence and social skills in a safe and positive environment

Parents are required to stay for the entire time and are welcome to encourage and support their child alongside the coach. Potty training not required (diapers okay if not yet trained).
