When you watch Aaron Tiegs, AKA Batman, at work, you can’t help but realize you’re looking at the future of grappling. Incredibly well rounded, unbelievably technical, and most noticeably amazing composure and calm. This is exactly the paradigm of Jiu Jitsu cultivation that we want our students to aim for at IPFS, so it’s a great honor for us to host Aaron on his seminar circuit at our school.

After winning IBJJF Nationals TWICE, medaling in WORLDS, and winning an ADCC Open tournament and making it look easy, “Batman” Aaron Tiegs has positioned himself at the forefront of up and coming competitors in the NW, undoubtedly heading for recognition on the world stage.

We’ve asked Aaron to present on the topic of “Staying up to date in the modern evolution of no gi grappling” – this is an incredibly valuable opportunity to learn the next-generation of technique from one of the next generation of up and coming elite competitors who is out there doing it, climbing to the ADCC level.
But what really stands out is that in an age of trash talking and creating drama for publicity, he’s doing with a personal image of pure class and sportsmanship – setting a great positive example for youth athletes. This is why we’re especially excited to announce that Aaron will be doing a separate kids seminar at 4:00 after the adults event in the morning. Aaron is a kids JiuJitsu instructor at Clark’s University in Bend, OR. This is an especially great opportunity for youth competitors, so mark this on your calendar, parents! November 11th – 10:30am adults seminar, 4:00pm youth seminar.
